Here we are back again and today I am making a recipe using what in Great Britain is the most bland and boring of legumes … the Butter Bean. It was a bane of my life in kidhood when it was always served boiled within an inch of it’s life in a sad pile on the edge of the plate. Well none of that today, this recipe is a triumph of the butter bean and raises it to take it’s rightful place in the glorious pantheon of pulses.
